On this page
Formation is one plan, paid once. It covers everything needed to form your company in one state.
What's included
- Company filing in the state you choose. Our formation partner prepares and files your formation document with the state.
- Standard EIN (tax ID) application. Your company's EIN is applied for with the IRS on Form SS-4, which you sign.
- Operating agreement (LLC) or bylaws (C-Corp). A standard template for you to review and adopt.
- Registered agent and business address for the first year. The registered agent accepts legal papers for your company in your formation state.
- Compliance calendar. It shows your company's filing dates once your company is formed.
If you add Expedited EIN
With Expedited EIN in your order, your EIN application goes on the expedited track instead of the standard one. You sign one more IRS form for it, Form 8821.
What's not included
- Registering your company in other states.
- Business licenses and permits.
- Tax filings.
Our guarantee
"Formed correctly or your money back" applies to errors in your formation. Our Terms set out what it covers.
