How much does it cost to form a company?
Formation is $299 one-time plus your state's filing fee, which you see for your state at checkout before you pay. Expedited EIN is an optional $299 add-on, only for companies where no owner has a US SSN.

Formation
One payment covers the state filing, the standard EIN (tax ID) application, a registered agent and business address for the first year, an operating agreement or bylaws template, and your compliance calendar. See What is included in Formation?
The state filing fee
Each state charges its own fee. We pass it on at cost and add nothing to it. Checkout shows it on its own line for your state, and it is included in Total today. See What is the state filing fee?
Expedited EIN
