Where to find your receipt
Your receipt is in Documents as Payment receipt, and we also email you when your payment is received. It lists every line you paid, including the state filing fee.

Open your receipt
- Select Documents in the sidebar.
- Open Payment receipt.
The receipt is titled Payment receipt and shows:
- Company, Paid by, For: Company formation order, and Paid on.
- Status: Paid, Pending, Didn't go through, or Refunded.
- Receipt reference and Payment processor reference.
- What was paid for: each line as paid, including the state filing fee and its amount, and the total.
Select Print to print it.
Manage billing
The account owner sees Manage billing. It opens our payment processor's customer page, where you can see receipts and saved cards. Teammates can see the receipt but not Manage billing.
The receipt email
When a payment succeeds, the account owner gets an email titled "Payment received for" your company name. This email can't be turned off.
Refunds
If your Expedited EIN add-on is refunded, a line under the Tax ID (EIN) track on Home says so once the refund is issued. See What is Expedited EIN, and who can add it?
