The compliance calendar and your registered agent.
- What is the compliance calendar?The compliance calendar lists your company's filings and their due dates, based on the rules your state publishes. It starts once your company is formed and all formation steps are done.
- What your registered agent does in your first yearYour registered agent receives legal and state notices for your company in your formation state. It's included for your first year, and its official mail shows in Documents.
- Why you may need to register in a second stateIf your company operates from a US state other than the one it's formed in, you'll usually need to register there too and pay that state's fees. Formation doesn't include it.
