How forming a company with Incorpify works
Answer 13 short steps and pay, then add your owners, tax ID and address details in the app. Our team checks the order, our formation partner files it, and Home follows every step.
Forming a company has three parts: the questions before checkout, the details after you pay, and the filing that Home follows for you.
1. Before checkout
You answer one question at a time. Each shows Step N of 13. The steps are Service, Country, Residence, Operating Location, US State, Entity Type, Company Name, Business Activity, Owners, SSN, Registered Agent, Account and Checkout. Nothing else is asked before payment.
On our website, select Continue to payment at the end. You then create a password or sign in, confirm your email with a code, and pay.
2. After you pay
In the app you add:
- Owners: everyone who owns part of the company.
- Roles (C-Corp only): officers, directors and shares.
- Tax ID: the responsible party for the EIN application.
- Address and phone: the company address, and a code to confirm your phone.
- Review: you tick each line to confirm it.
- Authorize and submit: you type your name to sign the filing authorization.
3. Filing and tracking
- Our team checks your details, then places the order with our formation partner.
- Our formation partner files with the state.
- When the IRS form is ready, you sign Form SS-4 from Home.
- Your papers land in Documents once our team has checked them.
Home shows four tracks: State filing, Tax ID (EIN), Signature form and Registered agent. Anything that needs you shows at the top, and we email you.
