Where to find your EIN
Once issued and checked, your EIN is on the Registrations tab of your company page, shown with its last four digits. The account owner can copy the full number, and the IRS letter is in Documents.
When your EIN is issued and our team has checked the IRS letter, the Tax ID (EIN) track on Home shows Issued, and we email you.
On your company page
- Select Company in the sidebar.
- Open the Registrations tab.
- Find Federal tax ID (EIN), issued by the IRS.
The EIN is shown with only its last four digits. The account owner has a copy button that copies the full number.
The How it was formed tab also lists your tax ID with your state, file number and registered agent.
The IRS letter
- Select Documents in the sidebar.
- Open Tax ID letter (CP-575). It's the IRS letter that confirms your EIN.
If it isn't there yet
The letter appears once our team has checked it and the Tax ID (EIN) track is done. If our formation partner has reported it but our team is still checking, Home says so. See Why a document isn't showing yet.
