How to set your company address and confirm your phone
Choose your registered agent's address or your own for the company, then confirm your main phone number with a code we text you. You can't continue until your phone is confirmed.
The Address and phone step asks "Which address should the company use?" A company needs a business address and a mailing address. They're usually the same.
Choose the company address
- Use the registered agent's address: your registered agent's address in your formation state. Included in your plan. You don't need a US address.
- Use my own address: an address where you can receive official mail. Enter a Business address, an optional Business phone, and a Mailing address. Tick Same as the business address if they match.
The registered agent's address is for official mail only. It isn't a mail-forwarding service or a place for packages.
Outside the US? Use State, province or region and Postal code. No postal code where you live? Enter 00000.
Confirm your main phone
- In Your main number, check the number and select Text me a code.
- Enter the 6-digit code we texted and select Confirm.
- When it shows Verified, select Continue.
To change the number, select Use a different number. Until the number is confirmed, you'll see "Confirm your phone number to continue."
