Can I cancel my order or get a refund?
No. Once you've paid, a formation order can't be cancelled or refunded. The exceptions are our guarantee, which covers errors in your formation, and the automatic Expedited EIN refunds.

Once you've paid, your formation order can't be cancelled, and the formation charge isn't refunded. Please check your answers before you pay.
Before you pay
Nothing is charged until you finish payment. If you leave checkout, you'll see "Your payment isn't finished". Nothing has been charged and nothing has been sent to our formation partner. You don't need to cancel anything.
After you pay
- Your order can't be cancelled or refunded.
- Your details still matter. Read every line on the Review step before you submit. See How to review, authorize and submit your order
- If you want to withdraw your Filing authorization, contact us at [email protected]. Withdrawing it doesn't lead to a refund.
When money does come back
- Our guarantee. "Formed correctly or your money back" applies to errors in your formation made by us or our formation partner. Report the problem from the paper or your company page, or contact us. Our Terms set out what it covers.
- Expedited EIN. If anyone on the order turns out to have a US SSN, or the expedited route couldn't issue your EIN, the add-on is refunded automatically. See What is Expedited EIN, and who can add it?
If a name is rejected
If the state rejects all your company names, you choose new ones from Home. The formation charge still applies.
